CLC: Chapter 1 Magic car and Art of travel

We coined this term based on the movie into the wild, where the protagonist finds an abandoned bus in Alaska to stay there for weeks. We knew we are going to spend close to three weeks in our car, hence naming it as magic car. We knew we would soon be upgrading our darling to super magic car after taking her to one of highest motor able roads in the world.



Apart from the tightly packed boot space we had almost every thing in the car. Oh before that our darling is 2007 Limited edition fully loaded black santro. We got hold of another wonderful device which can charge anything under the sun from car. We had laptops connected with wireless, GPS for tracking our vertical height and pathway, walky talky with 4 km range helping our in traffics. Couple of SLR’s and Handy cam to record our movie. This universal charger helped us in making sure that all the laptops,camers, camcorder and even the chargeable lead batteries are always on. With its amazing performance we are even planning to take electric cooker in our next trip. Yep its little more to ask but at least you can cook your food while driving and enjoy your camping. The car’s boot was also loaded with rug sacks ,emergency medicines and camping thing like tent, sleeping bags and other accessories.

The above things which we mentioned are not the actual art of travel, traveling raw occasionally stopping for SOTC (Stop for toilet and chai),literally living in car is what we meant by one of the art of traveling. We have driven continuously for 4 -5 days without a night stop just taking a nap in the car except the driver. We always enjoyed road side dhaba not only for the food but also for quick crow’s bath.



We usually don’t plan more than day’s schedule. Planning is just constrained to whom we think is for tourist. Travelers should just carry one thing “TRUST” we had abundance of that. We were traveling north close to 4,000 kms just keeping in faith the road should be open for civilians
